My newest book 'Minna's Quest' was published by Usborne in September 2007. It is set in Britain in Roman times, a new area for me. I have enjoyed the research and the writing so much that after the first book I wrote a second and am now on the third. Couldn’t stop! I love it.

Minna is a blacksmith’s daughter who raises a sickly abandoned foal, turning him into the pride of the Roman cavalry. Her stubborn determination and fiery nature burn brightly in the quiet fort of Othona and soon attract the secret admiration of the proud commander Theo. But even Theo cannot imagine the part Minna and her beloved horse will play when Othona is threatened by blood-thirsty pirates. Desperate to save her people, Minna risks all as she sets out on a perilous journey over land and sea to fetch help.
